Rheumatoid Arthritis Treatment

I would appreciate any input from all of you with RA and on this or any other arthritis medication.

Side effects especially, I get at least half of the side effects for any meds so I am concerned that my Rheumatologist wants me to start this one.

I had been on Maximum Strength Excedrin and Ibuprofen every four hours for a couple of years. Of course now have concerns of liver problems.

I have changed over to Hydrocodone as needed in the last 6 months.

I have had some success with Prenisone
(it repaired my knees) but the pain just moves to new joints.

I take massive A to Z vitamins and that helped the brain fog enormously.

Boy it is NOT fun!!

From what I know is that cortisone suppresses the immune system making me more susceptible to infections..etc
what can I do to enhance my immunity?

just wondering if its really a bunch of crap or not I heard the dose should be 1-2grams sounds like alot is it safe?

I am to start therapy with rituxan soon, but will not be taking methotrexate with it as I developed pneumonitis with methotrexate therapy. I would like to know of any delayed or adverse effects from the therapy other than what is listed in the brochure. Thanks for any help towards making an informed decision.

I have rheumatoid arthritis and a friend of mine told me to take one aleve tablet with 3,000mg of MSM. I would like to know if this is going to work because I’m not sure about this.
