How To Get Prescribed Vicodin?
Posted by: Alan in Rheumatoid Arthritis Drugs, tags: Prescribed, VicodinBeen having really bad pain due to my Rheumatoid Arthritis in my knees and ankles and the doctor won’t do anything except tell me to take some Tylenol.
I went to a different doctor and he prescribed me Darvocet, which again does nothing more than Tylenol/Aspirin/Advil. He even raised the dosage and i can’t feel a difference or pain relief.
I’m 17 and understand that teens abuse drugs, but i can’t even have a serious conversation with these college-educated doctors without them assuming something that i’m not aiming for. (Abusing it)
I’m pin-pointing Vicodin only because my mom will occasionally give me one or two for the day. It helps my pain a lot. I wouldn’t say it cures it and makes it absent, but, it sure has a relief effect that i can’t seem to achieve taking anything else. She has 7.5mg hydrocone and 10mg hydrocone vicodin’s, which are 750mg and 1000mg prospectively.
How would i get my doctor to prescribe me something similar to my mother’s prescription? She has hers for Rheumatoid Arthritis too, but since i’m 17, i can’t be taken seriously i guess. I can’t tell my doctor, “Oh yeah, my mom gives me 1 or 2 and i pop em and a lot of my pain is gone for quite a while.”
Any help is greatly appreciated.
