Rheumatoid Arthritis Treatment

I am currently on Neurontin 900mg and Lotrab 10mg for pain, but how does a Rheumatologist treat the pain? Sometimes my pain level is so out of control nothing I take helps.

I am a 57 yr old with a current Thyroid condition, I also take a HZT as a monitoring prevention for low to moderate Blood pressure, other maintenance meds I take is Simvastatin,Levothryoxin,Leflunomide along with Tramadol. I’m still acitively working a few more yrs., before my retirement, But I hurt mainly in the knees, and ankles. Can I take methcarbomal for the pain of rheumatoid arthritis.

I hurt 100% of the time! I’m not whinning it’s just a fact of life. But it is hard to do everyday things. People that I know just don’t understand why I can’t do the things I used to do. I have no one to complain to and I am now giving you your chance to vent and tell me about your frustrations!

Since for the case of RA The inflammation often tends to occur equally on both sides of the body Is there any other disease with the same symptoms such as joint swelling, redness ,…. ?
