My mother was recently diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis and I can’t stand to see her in such discomfort. She does have good days but others the pain medication comes with side effects. I was wondering if there are any sort of therapies or remedies, really anything that might help ease her joints and help her feel better? I really appreciate the advice!
thanks for your good wishes, I appreciate it. She has taken prescribed steroids and prednisone which only work temporarily. currently, she is trying some topical cream (proving to be not much help) that claims to help significantly. I will try these other tips as well. But keep the advice coming!

I just found out today that my dad has this. I know it can’t be cured but I sure as hell want to help him. He has been given several things by the doctor but that is mainly for the pain. I was wondering if tablets containing omega-3 or any other joint tablets would help in any way? Anybody suffering with this? How do you deal with it.

Please help me.

I need a list of things I can do as a CNA to help a patient with rheumatoid arthritis.
What can I do to make life easier for them?
Is there any special care I should give them?
Any precautions to take when giving care?
etc. etc.

Any help appreciated! Thanks!

My girlfriend has been suffering with juvenile rheumatoid arthritis for most of her life and it just tears me apart to see her in so much pain. She takes medication for it but still never feels great. I feel so useless not being able to help her with the pain, I’ve asked her if I can help but she always says “its fine”. Are there any ways I can really help her??

Thanks in advance.
By the way, we’re both fifteen, if it helps at all.
