Rheumatoid Arthritis is something that once you get it, you are very prone to having it again. It never completely goes away, but the pain is subsided with pain killers, physical therapy, etc. It cannot spread from person to person because this isn’t a virus or bacterial infection, but instead is when your own immune system is attacking your joints causing them to swell up. Therefore, it is not contagious from person to person.

You should go to an RA site for detailed info. It cannot be spread to others like a cold. However my doctor said it is inherited. If you have it, you have it for life. It is an immune system disease. It can roam from location to location in the body. One day it’s your hands, the next your ankles. It is debilitating and horrible.

no you can’t get it more than once you get it and then you have it, and it’s a genetic disorder where your own immune system starts attacking the joints and tissue around the joint so the only way of spreading it is by having children where than gene will manifest itself later in life
