does anyone have knowledge of Methotrexate and rheumatoid arthritis?

when you first start taking oral chemo tabs (2.5mg), you take only three each week. Some people take up to six each week. When do they start you on six a week? Do they gradually build you up to that amount?

Any information would be helpful.

I don’t know about inc dosage, but, it helped my mother’s arthritis. You need to discuss w your doctor based on your labs and body’s response and stage of your arthritis.

Well I was on a similar plan for my RA and I only take 1 mg weekly though injection. I think they just give you that amount and lean you off the chemo gradually if the docs see improvement.
